Toronto, March 17, 2004 - Join us for the launch of
the 2004 Images Festival catalogue on Tuesday, March
30 at 7:30 pm at Andy Pool Hall and check out the details
of this year's exciting program.
Meet some of the featured artists including Richard
Fung, Leslie Peters, Ijose
Benin, Craig Marshall, Shaan
Syed, John
Oswald. John
Greyson, Larissa Fan, Don
Sincalir, and Heath Fashina.
Tune into the sousaphone and theremin duo
of Brian Sanderson and Jesse
Pilgrim (of Silver Hearts fame). Jesse will
be on hand to show off his theremin (the oldest electronic
musical instrument) and give hands-off tutorials.

The Images Festival of Independent Film and Video,
Canada's largest annual event devoted exclusively to
independent and experimental film, video and new media,
runs from April 15 through April 24, 2004. From hand-tinted
celluloid to digital video, performances and interactive
media, the Images Festival celebrates its 17th year
with a 10-day line-up featuring this year's best independent
and experimental images. Audiences are given the unmissable
opportunity to take in more than 100 independent films
and videos, fifteen new media art installations, two
web-based exhibitions and five live events. |
